What Is Reiki?
We are all born with Universal Life Energy but our reaction to life causes us to become less open. The result is the natural flow of energy is less pure and is less available and our ego personality or false self becomes a filter for the energy.
Practicing Reiki can enable us to shift into a harmonious state referred to as an Alpha or Theta state of consciousness. It is during this state the ego personality is harmonised. Returning us to our natural wholeness. We are open to the divine moment of love and healing.
What Reiki Is Not
Mind directed energy polarity therapy or therapy using magnetism.
In these approaches, the therapist must see the energy coming into them and direct it with their minds. Illness is considered negative energy and the therapist filled with positive energy attracts the negative energy like a magnet pulling it away, removing it from the client. One of the biggest fears is that the negative energy from the client will attach itself to the therapist making them ill. On the opposite side the negative energy from the therapist cold be picked up by the client.
How Reiki Is Done
You don’t have to see energy, concentrate on anything at all, or move energy from someone or give them your energy. Reiki energy balances and harmonises. If there is too much energy in an area or not enough, that area is out of balance. An imbalance is potential for illness. A balanced state equals potential for healing.
Energy is transmitted by simply placing hands on another individual. We do not diagnose with Reiki, rather we understand whether the body is in a state of balance or imbalance. Reiki makes its way to imbalance during treatment. There is no need for medical or diagnostic education. Reiki works on many levels, physical, emotional, spiritual. All aspects are enhanced by Reiki. Cause and resulting illness are treated at the same time during treatment.
